Two (2) of our nine (9) Bryant teams that participated in the RI State Wide E-Pitch Competition held last evening at Johnson and Wales were finalists in a total field of 35 entrants.
Individual entrepreneurs, Brown University (seniors), Johnson and Wales, Salve University, and URI were all represented in the field of presenters.
This is a very respectable finish given Bryant's first time event experience and the stiff competition our freshman students were facing at this event. The panel judges for the event consisted of leading Commercial Lenders, Venture Capitalists, Entrepreneurs, Business Consultants, and the President of the RI Chamber of Commerce.

PROVIDENCE -- (Sept. 13, 2007) -- The Rhode Island Business Plan Competition today launched its 2008 season and announced that it will award more than $150,000 in prizes, the most since the competition began seven years ago, making it one of the richest business plan competitions in New England.
